These differences may cause crashes whenever a mod on your new PC is trying to do something that was not possible on your old PC, or expects to find something which isn't there. Are you using a mod which has to do with cliffracers, your equipment or spells, or the area in which these encounters happen, or something similar? And are you sure that the configuration of Morrowind of your new PC is absolutely identical with the one of your old PC, where you created the save game? This may include different versions of the same mod or activated / not activated mods. It does sound like a problem with mods, and possibly with the transition from one PC to another. And I don't know anything about community codecs GOG recommends. Your description doesn't sound like a codec problem (which are associated with videos and sound most of the time) to me.

One thing i must say that i was missing the mcp showcase file 1.6 or something that showed some features that was included in code patch 2.2 but wasn't updated anymore in my settings save file and is now missing in 2.4 i just continued playing on it even though the game warned me.I only checked once what exists there and didn't take anything with me in patch 2.2 on old rig.On better rig installed morrowind and transfered my save file used mods and that is it. I do understand that this game has also some need for codecs,wonder which one would be the best.Shark 007 codecs would usually crash when music was played to a certain point. Usually it happens when more cliff racers were attacking i was trying to cast bound sword but was failing while they were attacking me and it suddenly crashed,also i killed quite a few monsters or animals or what you call them on the way.Now only 2 of cliff racers were attacking but yes i had 5 of them attacking me at the same time on the old rig once and it crashed.
